The Irish Times is a popular pub with two levels, live bands and beer on tap. It is located beside Bastion Square in the heart of downtown Victoria.
The decor is classic Irish Pub with dark wooden tables and railings and a massive wrap around bar at the center. There are two levels to this pub which is full most evenings. Live bands play many evenings adding to the fun, busy atmosphere. Patio seating open onto historic Bastion Square and Government Street.
There is a large draught beer selection, including Irish, European, local and Cider. The extensive drinks menu rounds out with many Scotch and Whiskey to choose from as well as draft beer blends, wine, and cocktails. Check out the beer flights selection, and shot menu as well.
The food menu is standard pub fare with an Irish influence. They serve entrees like corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and Irish stew plus burgers and pizza. The starters section contains such favourites as chicken wings, calamari, and nachos.
This pub is popular with locals and tourists young and old. Children are welcome until 9 pm when accompanied by an adult. Most evenings there is free live music and you can check out daily specials like Pizza and a Pint for $14 on Wednesdays and Sundays all brunch items are $10. Happy hour is 3-6 daily.
